AMC is plotting to give fans of AMC's The Walking Dead a new perspective on the zombie-infested world through a companion series, the network revealed Monday
The spinoff show, Spread the Dead, will feature a fresh cast and storyline not associated with Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead comic books. It is scheduled to premiere in 2015. Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert will executive produce with AMC Studios
"We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters," AMC President Charlie Collier said in a statement. "It’s a big world and we can’t wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse." Read more...
