Apple has put up its colorful new smartphone, the iPhone 5C, up for pre-order

Once you choose from one of the five available colors and the storage capacity (16GB is $ 99, 32GB is $ 199), you can get the device with a contract from one of three network carriers — AT&T, Sprint or Verizon

You can also pre-order the iPhone 5C unlocked and contract free, for $ 549 (16GB) or $ 649 (32GB)

The delivery date for all variants is September 20, which is also when the iPhone 5S becomes available in stores
