This December, the remake of The Sound of Music will be released, and musical movie fans will watch with hopeful skepticism.
When High School Musical became a huge hit, more teen musicals followed, including a remake of the '80s dance-fueled rebellion flick Footloose.
So if enough "Favorite Things" fans tune into The Sound of Music reboot, a remake of another Julie Andrews classic, Mary Poppins, probably won't be too far behind. We've already got our picks for the dream cast.
