Do you listen to more music on your phone or computer? You may be surprised to learn that more than twice as many Americans stream digital radio services than listen to music on their phones.
In 2013, 147 million Americans listened to online radio at least once per month, compared with the 70 million Americans who listen to music on mobile devices over the same time period. While the number of people listening both forms of digital music is expected to increase significantly over the next five years, the rate of mobile listening will accelerate more quickly.
