In an apparent first for the college sports world, a San Diego State fan's season basketball and football tickets have been revoked by the school after he tweeted a string of ugly comments about a rival player
The fan, identified as a male former SDSU student, posted death wishes about New Mexico guard Cullen Neal from the Twitter account of SDSU's prominent cheering club.
Neal was hospitalized for 10 days with appendicitis earlier this month, prompting this spurt of posts on Wednesday, the Albuquerque Journal reports:
