Summit Entertainment on Tuesday let loose some real eye candy in the form of a final trailer for its feature adaptation of Orson Scott Card's iconic sci-fi novel, Ender's Game.
The clip (above) opens with Harrison Ford, a sci-fi icon in his own right, addressing the protagonist (and the audience) in the second person. Visuals of deep space clashing abound and escalate, as the preview quickly turns into a freewheeling display of CGI warfare wizardry
As in the book, a hostile alien race known as the Formics has attacked Earth, and Col. Hyrum Graff (Ford), along with the International Military, are looking for the most talented young soldiers. That's where Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), a brilliant but shy boy who's recruited to join the elite, comes in.
