Despite garnering mostly negative reviews, Samsung claims it has sold 800,000 Galaxy Gear smartwatches in 2 months after the device hit the market, Reuters reports
According to the report, which cites unnamed Samsung officials, Galaxy Gear sales exceeded Samsung's expectations. The company now plans to expand sales promotion for the Gear in time for the holidays
"It's the most sold wearable watch available in the market place...and we plan to expand its availability by expanding mobile devices that work with the Gear," Samsung said in a statement. Read more...
