Walmart unveiled its gangbuster Black Friday promotions, undoubtedly to compete with Amazon's 10-minute sales blasts.
"Black Friday is our Super Bowl and we plan to win," Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising and marketing officer of Walmart U.S., said in a statement, summing up big-box retailers' Game of Thrones-style approach to bargain shopping.
Starting now, the retail behemoth is offering pre-Black Friday deals in stores and online. Walmart's official Black Friday events will take place at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving and at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.
