Millenials watch more online video than Baby Boomers do, but both groups prefer TV shows to other types of content
This chart, created by Statista, shows the percentages of U.S. Internet users who watch different types of online video content, broken down by generation.
Across generations, web videos and personal videos were less popular, and TV shows and user-generated content were more popular. The exception to the content trend was news, which was more popular among Generation X and Baby Boomers than among Millenials.
