There was a time, not too long ago, when Yahoo, laboring mightily under the weight of being one of the oldest Internet players in the game, would struggle to push out a new update for even the most popular platforms. But, under former Googler Marissa Mayer, those days are apparently over — the company has unveiled its brand new news app on the very same day that Apple made iOS 7 available to the general public.
Emblazoned with the new Yahoo logo unveiled earlier this month, the app is a relatively stripped down affair offering a clean and simple interface that, while seamlessly blending in with the new iOS 7 interface, appears to be designed for speed and practicality on a mobile device. Read more...
