Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Apple announced that all iOS app submissions must be optimized for iOS 7 starting Feb. 1. LG plans to announce a new computer at CES in 2014 called the Chromebase — an all-in-one running Google's ChromeOS. The International Electrotechnical Commission wants to see universal laptop chargers; according to ITProPortal, the IEC published a laptop charger standard in hopes that manufacturers would reduce electronic waste.
